Hi, I'm looking for this story and slowly going insane trying to find it. It was a Jack/Ianto story, Ianto-centric, in which (due to circumstances) Ianto had become an assassin, and was sent by Torchwood One to join Three. For most of the story the characters believed that Ianto had killed Lisa, but in reality Lisa had killed herself after being taken over by an alien. The story ranged from before the destruction of One to after the third series, with several changes being made due to the plot. I remember that Ianto took the bullet for Owen, meaning that he didn't die (the first death at least, he and Tosh both still died at the end of the second series.) I'm also somewhat certain that the title was a Shakespeare quote, though there's always the possibility that that's a moment of insanity on my part. The story was completed the last time I read it. Please, I'm begging over here - I loved this fic to pieces, it was beautifully written. I'd swear it was on their personal lj as well |

Ohthankgod, that's it! I think you're officially my new favorite person right now. (And hey, the Shakespeare wasn't can't-find-this-fic-induced insanity after all!) (also also, it's sad that just reading the name of the fic made me remember it, but there you go.)
You're welcome, I'm glad I was able to help:) It's one of my favorite fics and I just recently re-read it so it was fresh in my mind.
